Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses hypnosis as a tool to help individuals achieve specific goals or address various issues, both psychological and physical. It is a therapeutic approach that combines traditional talk therapy with a state of focused attention and relaxation, known as hypnosis.
Induction
You will be guided into a state of deep relaxation and heightened focus. This is not the same as being asleep or meditating. There are several ways that this can be done and will depend on the individual. You will not feel out of control but merely relaxed and focused.
Suggestion
While in this hypnotic state, we may provide suggestions or imagery that is intended to help the individual address their specific concerns. These suggestions can be related to behaviour changes, emotional healing, or other therapeutic goals.
Exploration
If needed we may ask questions that will help gain insights into the root causes of the issues. This can be particularly helpful for uncovering and addressing past traumas.
